Founded by Lian Gabilo, Gabilo Legal is led by a Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Lian represents clients in Small Claims Court disputes, Landlord & Tenant Board matters, Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, Assessment Review Board and Skip tracing across Ontario.

With a background in high-stakes civil litigation. Lian is currently a litigation paralegal for a principal lawyer in a commercial litigation law firm. She takes the lead in the firm's collections, Small Claims, and Landlord & Tenant Board matters.

Lian brings a diverse legal background, having worked at a prominent criminal law firm representing Police Associations across Canada, where she law clerked for the firm’s civil litigation team and gained hands-on experience in complex legal drafting, case management, and trial preparation.

She was also mentored under the instruction of a founding member of the Landlord & Tenant Board, providing her with practical insight and best practices.

In addition, Lian has a Bachelor of Arts in Justice Studies, a diploma in Community & Justice Services and a diploma in Paralegal Studies. Before venturing into the legal field, Lian worked in the social services sector where she worked with at-risk youth, adults and incarcerated men who were transitioning back into society.

Lian is very passionate about helping those in need and relies on this foundation to carry out her legal work. Lian loves an underdog story, and her work is strongly fueled by attaining justice that one deserves.

Lian is en route to pursuing a Juris Doctor and plans to be called to the Ontario Bar to further practice the advocacy she believes people deserve.
